On September 3, 2009, The Chronicles of Gor website, was the first to announce that John Norman's agent, Richard Curtis, was negotiating the production of an audio version of the Gor series. Almost six month later, we announced that the audio edition would be produced by Brilliance Audio, and that the first six books would be narrated by Ralph Lister.
Today, we inform the Gorean fanbase, that the release date for the first volume, Tarnsman of Gor, is set to June 15, 2010, while Outlaw of Gor is scheduled for August 15, 2010, Priest-Kings of Gor for October 15, 2010, and Nomads of Gor for December 15, 2010. Next year, on February 15th, 2011, Assassin of Gor will follow and on April 15, 2011, Raiders of Gor will be released. If and when the other books in the Gorean Saga will follow the first six, remains, as yet, unknown.
The Brilliance Audio Edition of John Norman's Tarnsman of Gor will be available in four different formats. A seven CD audio version, a single CD MP3 version, an online download, and two special Library editions with Brilliance's unpresidented lifetime replacement guarantee. Prices vary depending on the chosen format. The total duration of the audio production of Tarnsman of Gor is 8 hours.
